Nel mondo ad oggi sono 60.000 i retail che accettano Bitcoin, gli investimenti nella valuta virtuale crescono ad un ritmo esponenziale (ad oggi siamo a più 30% sul totale 2013) ed Expedia è l'ultimo tra i grandi nomi che hanno recentemente abbracciato la nuova tecnologia dopo Overstock.com, Chicago Sun-times e Dish Network.
